On June 14, 2022, the Bedford Republican Committee elected Pat MacMonagle as the new Chair. Pat replaces Bart Fromuth, who resigned the role due to increased demands on his time by his business. Bart remains on the Board and on sub-committees.
The objectives of the Committee remain the same: promote the policies of the Republican Party in Bedford, assist local Republican candidates campaigning for office, inform the public on important issues and encourage citizens to vote.
Republican led government policies and programs benefit our town and the entire state. It is no coincidence that independent sources continue to give New Hampshire highest rankings compared to other states. These include the areas of public safety/low crime, economic opportunity, school choice, personal freedoms, raising a family, overall low taxes and being among the best managed. It stands out as a state that people and businesses want to move to, and we continue to see new Bedford residents.
The BRC website is kept up-to-date with state and local Republican events, news about candidates, legislation and accomplishments, and articles on current events and issues. The website also has links to politicians, other Republican committees and organizations and local news outlets.
Regarding events, we have a major event coming up June 30, with the Summer Social and Picnic. Prominent political leaders will be in attendance and it will be a fun time for all. Committee Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. The agenda for each meeting is posted on the site, including the guest speaker(s).
